Tina Michelle Barkes Hazelwood, 35, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. The Hardin County native was a member of Hardin County Mounted Search and Rescue. She attended New Salem Baptist Church and loved horses, camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 8 years, Michael Hazelwood, two sons, Jonathon Hazelwood and Tyler Hazelwood , one daughter Aalexis Hazelwood , her parents, Timmy L. "Easy" Barkes and Vickie Coombs Barkes all of Elizabethtown, three brothers, Timmy Joseph Barkes of Radcliff, Tony Barkes of North Vernon, IN, and Robert Allen Barkes of Columbus, IN, one sister, Tonya Marie Barkes of Columbus, IN and a nephew, Ethan Barkes. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. James Clark officiating. Burial will be in Sonora Cemetery.
