William Douglas Rickett, 60, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Etown, member of Memorial Methodist Church, and a retired supervisor for General Telephone. He is preceded in death by his father; William Ray Rickett. He is survived by his mother; Martha Rickett VanMeter and her husband, Reginald VanMeter of Etown, his wife; Karen Harper Rickett of 32 years of Etown, 1 son; Erin Douglas Rickett of Etown. The funeral will be Tuesday, May 24 at Brown Funeral Home at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Hardin Memorial Park.
