Nannie Lillian Glass, 99 of Elizabethtown, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 3, 2016. She was a native of Larue County and a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church. She retired from the People's Store after 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen "Bully" Glass; her parents, Lucien "Sal" and Grace Walters Elmore; five brothers, Ralph Elmore, Marshall Elmore, William "Billy" Elmore, Jesse Elmore, and Kenneth Elmore and a sister, Linda Elmore Self. She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Joyce and Louis Cofer of Elizabeththown; two sisters, Roberta Elmore Conner and Betty (Billy) Cofer all of Elizabethtown; a brother, Walter Elmore of Charleston, IL; a sister-in-law, Norma Elmore of Bloomington, IN; two grandchildren, David (Sherry) Cofer of Elizabeththown and Cathy (Barry) Gaddie of Birmingham, AL and four great grandchildren, Rod Gaddie of Elizabethtown, Ben Gaddie of Birmingham, AL, Kaitlin Cofer of Lexington and Jordan Cofer of Bowling Green. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Compton officiating. Burial will follow in Hardin Memorial Park.
