Charles Beckham Overstreet, 86, of Elizabethtown, passed away at Kensington Center on Monday, January 4, 2016. He was a native of Oldham Co. and worked over 40 years as a station supervisor with Louisville Gas and Electric. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Marie Overstreet, his parents, Morgan Vance and Bessie Asup Overstreet, one brother, and one grandson, Andrew Overstreet. He is survived by one son and his wife Gerald "T.J." and Kathy Overstreet of Elizabethtown, one grandchild, Michael Overstreet of VA, and four great grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday at 12:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Kent Litchfield officiating. Entombment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.
