Lucille Johnson Brashear, 85, of McKenzie, TN, formerly of Hardin County, died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at McKenzie Healthcare Center. She was a native of Hardin County and a retired teacher for the Northwest Tennessee Headstart. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a former Jaycette. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Lena Mae Cundiff Johnson; her husband, Ed L. Brashear, who died on January 14, 1991; a sister, Ethleen Van Meter and a brother, Raymond Johnson. Survivors include two daughters, Angelina (George) Collier of Memphis, Celia Anne (John) Hopper of New Baltimore, MI; a son, Anthony E. Brashear of McKenzie; a sister, Josephine Powell of Eastview. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Monday at the Smith Chapel United Methodist Church in Eastview with the funeral service starting at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Smith Chapel Cemetery.
