Karen Margrete Payton, 69, of Elizabethtown died at her residence Saturday. She loved crocheting, the Colorado Mountains, and her family always came first. She is preceded in death by her husband; Kenneth Hayes Payton and a son; Timothy Payton. She is survived by a daughter; Theresa (Michael) Williams of Etown, 2 brothers; Larry and Bruce Kelley of Colorado, 2 sisters; Liz Seefeldt of Colorado and Sandra Shepherd of Etown, 5 grandchildren; Whitney, Zach, Alex, Skylar and Caden and 2 great grandchildren; Payton and Emmett. There is no funeral or burial. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 27 from 2 - 6 pm at Brown Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to American Cancer Society.
