Jane Plumisto Smallwood, 78, of Elizabethtown, KY, died Friday, October 9, 2015 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Colfax County, New Mexico and was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church. She was past president of Hardin County Farmers Market and was a volunteer at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a Daddy's girl and very proud of her Greek heritage. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Mamie Ridenour Plumisto and by her siblings, Kathryn Pennington, George Plumisto, Ann Kendall, Mitchell Plumisto, Sophie Plumisto, Mary Tennison and Janet Plumisto. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas S. Smallwood, Sr., one son Thomas S. Smallwood, Jr and his fiancee, Patricia of Eastview, KY, one Daughter, Mary (Randy) Scroggs of Oviedo, FL, two sisters, Anita "Cookie" Serra of Littleton, CO and Helen Plumisto Bolenbarker of Irving, TX and four grandchildren, Kelsey Scroggs, Cassidy Smallwood, Mackenzie Scroggs and Conner Smallwood. The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Douthitt officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY. Visitation 4:30 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Center.
