Geneva Brown, 80, of Bradenton, FL passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015. She was a resident of Bradenton for the last 4 years moving from Elizabethtown, KY. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph “JT” Brown, married for 48 years. Geneva leaves behind her dog Boots, whom she loved with all her heart. She enjoyed being with her family, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She is survived by her loving children Michael W. Reynolds of Ft. Wayne, IN, Cheryl (Arnold) A. Hurt of Cecilia, KY and Terri L. Scherer of Bradenton, FL. She leaves behind her grandchildren Chris, Trinna, Nick, Christina, Matthew, Keith and her great grandchildren Gage, Gavin, Jaden, Connor, Owen, and Alex. The funeral will be Saturday at 12 noon at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Jasper officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and continue after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the American Cancer Society.
