Vyhular Gore, 89, of Sonora passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 at Sunrise Manor. Our beloved mother walked through Heaven's gate today. Her last prayer was, "God you say I have a mansion, I don't even know what that is. But if you say so, I believe it." Her faith was with her always, no matter how great her burdens were. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Carl Gore; granddaughter, Erica Lynn Carby; parents, John and Iva Mae Lucas; brothers, J.C. Lucas and Walter Lucas; and sister, Mae Cecil Goodman. She is survived by her son, Steven (Devonna Ann) Gore of Upton; daughter, Tracy Ann (J.R.) Carby of Sonora; 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. The Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at New Horizon Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Hardin Memorial Park.
