Robert Vertrain Hart, 90, of Radcliff, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at North Hardin Health and Rehab. He was a native of Larue Co. and a member of Unity Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, worked Maintenance for 20 years at Ball Bro. Oil Company, and was a Purple Heart Recipient, American Legion Post 113, and DAV. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dortha Brown Hart; parents, Harvey and Mary Hart; brother, Albert Hart; two sisters, Edna Horn and Jessie Peters. He is survived by his son, Michael (Alicia) Hart of Hudson, Ky; daughters, Rose (Robert) Harned of Elizabethtown, Brenda (Larry) Moon of Vine Grove; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Don Flanigan officiating, and Wilford Hatfield assisting. Burial will follow at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
