Tara, sorry for your loss. I worked with Elmer for several year at HMH. Elmer had traits that I admired and cherished. He was honest, trustworthy, caring and most of all he was human. By that I mean he owned whatever decisions he made in work and life. He instilled in me a phase that he carried with him always and I carry today in my life. “Love many, Trust few and learn to paddle your own canoe.” He will be missed! Go rest Elmer it is deserved.
