My friend Bob I’ve known Bob about 30yrs. We became friends right away because of our mutual love of Sports And his love of Hockey. He introduced me to the intricacies of the game. We started to attend games. From minor league to NHL. We use to drive from Los Angeles to Anaheim-About a 2 Hour drive during commute time to watch the Anaheim Ducks in their first year. We had discussion about the teams and players . He taught me about the history of the game and the older players. Never a dull moment. I believe since We both grew up in small towns we therefore had similar ideas and values. He lived a good life and I enjoyed our time together Condolences to Stewart Phillip K
Bob was one of the few genuine friends I have had over the years. We shared a love of hockey, airplanes, and travel. Every time I watch a game of baseball or hockey, I shall think of Bob Barry, who was one of the most knowledgeable fans I have ever met.
