Dorothy Evelyn Bush, 81 of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Kensington Manor Nursing Home.
She was a native of Hardin County and a member of Cecilia Baptist Church and the Hardin County Homemakers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph T. Bush and her parents, Jesse J. and Susie Genrose Stewart Buckles.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Joseph (Rebecca) Bush and James Randall (Debbie) Bush all of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Mildred (Henry) Owsley of Elizabethtown and Susie (Paul) Grooms of Jeffersonville, IN; five grandchildren, Robert J. Bush, II, Melanie C. Bush, Nancy A. Bush (Jeff) McCoy, Randall Casey Bush and Tyler Ray Bush; two step grandchildren, Dustin (Kristin) Cain and Jon C. Cain; four great grandchildren, Brittany Chenault, J. T. Chenault, Dillan Baird and Camden McCoy.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Don Flanigan officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
